What do you make?
Primarily cards from my own photographs together with other handmade cards, lavender bags, embellished notebooks, a small amount of jewellery and hand painted glass. What inspires you? Anything really - will see something that triggers my imagination and off I go. How did you begin your journey? I was a 24/7 carer for 10 years and when it sadly finished I was absolutely at a loss as to what to do with myself. I started to accompany a friend to craft fairs - just to keep her company and she in turn encouraged me to start crafting myself. |
What is your favourite thing to make?
It has to be anything to do with my photographs which has been a passion of mine for many years.
Do you every have crafting disasters?
For sure! Who doesn't? Apart from those items listed under what do you make I am always trying something new and with any new ventures you are never really satisfied with the first attempts - everything is a learning curve.
If I had a crafting wish, what would it be?
In an ideal world a room large enough to accommodate all the bits and pieces I have accumulated over time with racks of shelves and baskets so I could find items immediately instead of spending hours wondering "now where did I put that?"
